Three measurements decide it. Work through these before you compare models.

  1. Ceiling height

    Measure floor to the lowest obstruction: joists, door tracks, lights. Raising a full-size truck to full height on a two-post lift needs about 11 to 12 ft. Lower than that changes the model.

  2. Vehicle weight

    Rate the lift to your heaviest vehicle plus a margin, not your lightest. A 10,000 lb two-post covers most trucks and SUVs. Sedans and classics need far less.

  3. Single or double bay

    Two-post for wrenching with the wheels off. Four-post for parking, storage, and stacking two deep. Bay width sets the column spacing you can run.

What We Ship

Lifts ship LTL freight on a pallet. Here is what that looks like so there are no surprises on delivery day.

  1. Freight, palletized

    Every lift ships bolted to a pallet by LTL carrier. Total shipping weight runs 1,500 to 2,300 lb depending on the model.

  2. Curbside delivery

    The carrier brings it to the end of your driveway on a liftgate truck and calls ahead to schedule a window. Moving it into the garage is a two-person job, or one person with a pallet jack.

  3. Lead time

    In-stock models leave the warehouse in 3 to 5 business days. Transit runs 5 to 10 business days by distance. You get a tracking number and the terminal phone number.

Cabinets and floor coating kits ship standard ground and need no freight appointment.
